Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGS-25K-480V3P-10C-GLVD power distribution substation converts 480V AC three phase electrical current to single phase 120/240V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. Designed for marine environments, the power distribution system is equipped with stainless steel components and a galvanized steel frame, which offers superior protection against corrosion. The MGS-25K-480V3P-10C-GLVD portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 240 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480 volt line-in power using a 25` 4/0 cord. On the secondary side, operators connect to two twist lock receptacles for 240V equipment and to eight GFCI duplex receptacles for 120V equipment. A 25` 4/0 cord brings 480V three phase power to the NEMA 3R 480V three phase primary fused disconnect and passes 480V through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 25 KVA transformer converts 480V three phase power to 120/240V single phase and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 100-amp, 120/240V single phase main circuit breaker panel. This secondary panel contains two 30-amp breakers protecting two 30-amp, 250V twist lock receptacles and eight 20-amp breakers protecting eight 20-amp GFCI duplex 120V receptacles. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Protective Construction: The transformer is mounted on a 1/8” thick galvanized steel frame and mounting platform for protection against corrosive elements and superior durability in marine environments. The load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2 inch square stainless steel tubing frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and well protected power distribution platform. An integral 3" x 6" x 3/8" rectangular tube, stainless steel skid pockets provide forklift access, and a top located lifting eyelet allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This power distribution system is designed for outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows, exhibits, and marine applications. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request. Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground. ~Please check all motor loads for dual rated motors that will work 208 or 240.~ Applications: This power distribution system is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
