The Larson Electronics WAL-DL-40-4L-CPR LED Dock Light is a flexible lighting solution for loading bays, outdoor work sites and warehouses. Equipped with a 40" arm, the 20-watt LED light operates on 120-277V AC. This IP65-rated unit is constructed of die-cast aluminum and 14 gauge square steel for maximum durability. The WAL-DL-40-4L-CPR is a powerful LED dock light for trailers, delivery bays and industrial loading operations. This 20-watt unit operates on 100-277V AC and offers 1,800 lumens of white light. The LED light head is supported by a 40" foldable arm, which is comprised of two parts. Operators can adjust the first section of the arm vertically (up and down), while the second section of the arm that is supporting the LED light head can be adjusted horizontally (left and right). The LED loading dock light is constructed of die-cast aluminum and 14 gauge square steel (arm), with a powder coated finish. For durability at the work site, the lens is made out of acrylic and is shatter resistant. A lamp cage protects the LED light head from rough contact. This unit is IP65 waterproof and suitable for non-corrosive, outdoor environments. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. Mounting: The WAL-DL-40-4L-CPR is compatible with surface or wall mounting configurations. For seamless installation, a total of four screw holes at the end of the arm is available for mounting. Once properly secured, the 40" arm can be folded or positioned according to the preferences of the operator.
