The Larson Electronics MGL-480.3P.25A-15KVA-1X208.2P.30A-9X120.1P.20A-M1 temporary power distribution system converts three-phase 480V AC electrical current into three-phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

The MGL-480.3P.25A-15KVA-1X208.2P.30A-9X120.1P.20A-M1 temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 208 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480 volt line-in power via 6` of #10 SOOW cord. On the secondary side, operators connect to one L6-30R receptacle for 208V equipment, six 5-20R duplex GFCI receptacles for 120V equipment and three 5-20R duplex red receptacles for 120V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers.

Operation: A 6` #10 SOOW line-in cord brings three-phase 480V AC power to the NEMA 3R 30-amp, three-phase 480V primary disconnect, which contains three 25-amp time delay fuses, and passes power through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15 KVA transformer converts 480V to three-phase 208Y/120V 60Hz and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 50-amp, three-phase 208Y/120V main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains one 30-amp 2-pole 250V breaker protecting one 30-amp 250V L6-30R receptacle and nine 20-amp 1-pole 125V breakers protecting six 20-amp 125V 5-20R duplex GFCI receptacles and three 20-amp 125V 5-20R duplex receptacles.

Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style, frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat rubber tires and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks.

This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150KVA, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

Certification: All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code). All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.
