Eaton Scavenge jet / Ejector pump

Scavenge pumps are typically jet pumps (ejector pumps) designed to remove (scavenge) water and/or fuel from hard-to-empty or trapped areas in fuel tanks, vent tanks or tubes. They are mounted in a fuel tank at the lowest point near the tank sump and are either connected to the transfer system tubing or have dedicated scavenge tubing.Ê

EatonÕs water scavenge jet pumps are optimized to thoroughly mix induced water with motive flow to minimize free water coming from the discharge port Ñ an important step if discharge is close to an engine feed pump inlet. The ejector pump can include integral features such as a check valve and inlet screen.
