Volvo Penta (21351265) fixed two-blade Saildrive propellers are particularly developed for a Saildrive. They are composed of high-quality, long-lasting aluminum alloy and are epoxy coated to prevent corrosion. It has an upgraded shock-absorbing rubber bush to avoid Saildrive corrosion and preserve the gearbox while switching from forward to reverse.
If you replace your old fixed Saildrive propeller with a new one, you must also change the cone kit since the new version has been modified and does not need a plastic space washer. To prevent the prop from becoming stuck to the shaft, any Volvo Penta fixed 2 blade propeller should be removed once a year and re-greased with part number 828250.
