Volvo Penta (21351281) fixed 2-blade Saildrive propellers are designed exclusively for sail drives. They are composed of high-quality, long-lasting aluminum alloy and are epoxy coated to prevent corrosion.
For fixed two-blade Saildrive propellers, an enhanced stress rubber bush is included to prevent Saildrive corrosion and protect the gearbox while shifting from forward to reverse.
If you replace your old fixed Saildrive propeller with a new one, you must also return the cone kit because the new version has been modified and does not require a plastic space washer. To avoid the prop becoming stuck to the shaft, every Volvo Penta fixed two-blade propeller should be removed once a year and re-greased with part number 828250.
