Light Pole Systems 3/4" (ABA.75) Anchor bolt adapter
Light Pole SystemsÕ Anchor Bolt Adapter (ABA) is designed to fix the common problem of anchor bolts not matching the light pole. This problem most often occurs when anchor bolt circle is confused with anchor bolt square, the wrong anchor bolt template is used, or when the pole base plate is cut incorrectly. Sold as a set for standard 4 bolt patterns, the hot dip galvanized Anchor Bolt Adapter block threads onto the existing anchor bolt, in place of the leveling nut and washer, and the light pole is bolted to the Anchor Bolt Adapter studs with the included nut and washers. The Anchor Bolt Adapter allows the bolt circle to change size, rotate, or move to the center.
Anchor Bolt Pattern-Adjustment Options
The anchor bolt circle can adjust a bolt circle to:
ABA.75: by exactly 2.2Ó or 4.4Ó of bolt circle adjustment without rotating the light pole or any adjustment up to 4.4Ó with rotating the light pole.
ABA1 & ABA1-.75: by exactly 2.5Ó or 5Ó of bolt circle adjustment without rotating the light pole or any adjustment up to 5Ó with rotating the light pole.
If the anchor bolts are not centered in the footing the Anchor Bolt Adapters allow for up to ABA.75: 2.2 inches, ABA1 & ABA1-.75: 2.5 inches of lateral movement for each anchor bolt.
If the anchor bolts are not clocked correctly, the Anchor Bolt Adapters can rotate the pole on the footing. The amount of rotation depends on the bolt circle.
If each anchor bolt needs a different adjustment, the individual blocks can be set in a different position.
