Made in the USA The EPL-TX-25A-12V-ILS-EPO from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Step-Down Transformer with Explosion Proof Receptacle that converts commonly used 120-277V AC electrical current to 12V DC at 25 amps and allows operators to connect explosion proof plugs into the outlet for a 12V DC source of power. Constructed of cast aluminum, an explosion proof inline On/Off switch can be found at the end of the unit for seamless and safe disconnection from electrical sources. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The EPL-TX-25A-12V-ILS-EPO allows operators to tap into and utilize common 120-277V AC power sources in combustible work sites and hazardous locations. This explosion proof stepdown transformer with explosion proof receptacle has an input voltage of 120-277V AC, 50/60Hz. With a secondary capacity of 25 amps, the input voltage is stepped down to 12V DC. Operators are also provided access to a single-pole inline switch with an On/Off selection. The component provides a safe and secure method for operators to interrupt power before connecting and disconnecting equipment. This explosion proof power converter features an IP67 rated waterproof cast aluminum housing, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use and includes integral short circuit and overload protection that will shut down the unit in case of faults and overloads to protect the unit and connected equipment from damage. The explosion proof switch component is constructed of malleable iron with all arcing devices contained within an explosion proof labyrinth switch for the highest protection possible. The output side of the transformer is terminated in an EYS seal off with CGB cord grips. Enough Chico fiber and compound is provided for operators to seal both EYS seal offs after cable is installed. Customer provides both line-in and line-out cable and seals the EYS with the sealing compound provided. The input side of this transformer is equipped with an explosion proof receptacle that allows operators to connect explosion proof plugs into the outlet for a 12V power source. The EPL-TX-25A-12V-ILS-EPO is available in either a 125V or 250V configuration. The 125V version accepts 5-15P and 5-20P plugs. The 250V version accepts 6-15P and 6-20P plugs.
