Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL-208D-9KVA-208Y.120-3X120.1P.15A temporary power distribution system converts three phase 208V electrical current into three phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 208V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGL-208D-9KVA-208Y.120-3X120.1P.15A portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120V equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 208 volt using a 25` SOOW cord with a 15-30P 250V cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to three 5-15R duplex GFCI receptacles for 120V equipment. Operation: A 25` SOOW cord with a 15-30P 250V cord cap brings three phase 208V power to the NEMA 3R 30-amp 208V three phase primary disconnect, which contains three 30-amp time delay fuses and passes 208V three phase through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 9 KVA transformer converts 208V three phase power to 208Y/120V three phase and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 30-amp 208Y/120V three phase main lug only panel. This secondary side contains three 15-amp breakers, protecting three 15-amp 125V duplex GFCI receptacles. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style, frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat rubber tires and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
