The HAL-EMG-48-85LED-300-EPP Hazardous Location LED Light w/ Emergency Backup offers cutting-edge illumination in flammable buildings. This LED fixture emits 10,400 lumens of white light in a flood beam configuration and contains an emergency backup feature. Constructed of copper-free aluminum with a polycarbonate lens, the LED unit comes with 300` of 12/3 SOOW cord and an explosion proof cord cap. The HAL-EMG-48-85LED-300-EPP is comprised of solid state design LEDs, making this hazardous area LED fixture highly reliable and cooler running than comparable incandescent and HID light fixtures. This 80-watt unit operates on 100-240V AC/277V AC, 200-480V AC, 50/60 Hz. When in use, the hazardous location LED light provides 10,400 lumens of output with a color temperature rating of 5000K and >70 CRI. A wide, 110¡ flood beam configuration ensures comprehensive illumination. Constructed of copper-free aluminum with an impact resistant polycarbonate lens and stainless steel hardware, this LED fixture is corrosion resistant. Suitable for wet locations, the IP66 rated unit takes on a slim profile and offers robust heat dissipation. Emergency Battery Backup: We added a battery backup unit to this hazardous location LED light, which ensures emergency light functionality to the fixture. This hazardous area emergency light will run one bulb at 6 watts the standard UL suggested 90 minutes after power is lost at 130 lm/w. The light recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. Standard configuration includes a single emergency battery backup that is automatically recharged and kept in a ready state. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Plug options include explosion proof 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug, explosion proof 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug, or explosion proof 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Mounting: Each unit is equipped with a surface mount swivel bracket, which can be secured on ceilings, flat surfaces or walls. Operators may access four mounting holes on the bracket during installation. After securing the mounting bracket on a preferred surface, operators can tilt the light head in a desired direction for optimized beam placement over the target area. Applications: Hazardous locations, chemical processing plants, oil and gas sites, offshore rigs, labs, extraction rooms, gasoline stations, marine locations and more.
