The Larson Electronics HAL-2X31L-LV-TP1-25BC Hazardous Location LED Light is rated Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C, D and uses two 31 watt LED light heads each producing 2,334 lumens of bright white light. This portable LED tripod light has a removable LED light head assembly mounted on top of an adjustable aluminum tripod for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The LED light heads on this unit produce a wide 100¡ flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas such as tanks and containers and is suitable for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. We also offer a 30¡ spot configuration which is better suited for distance. Aluminum construction, high power LED light output, and a high degree of adjustability, make this an ideal lightweight alternative to heavy traditional metal halide or incandescent tripod lighting systems. This portable LED light tripod is comprised of two 7 inch LED light heads fitted to a specially designed removable aluminum mounting bracket mounted atop an adjustable tripod fabricated from non sparking aluminum. The non sparking, adjustable and collapsible tripod can be extended to ten feet in height and collapsed to three feet, providing a high degree of versatility and portability. The explosion proof LED light assembly can be removed from the tripod by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the tripod support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down, or from side to side, and locked into position, which combined with the 360 degrees of rotation and 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light head provides an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights. Each LED light can be adjusted independently of the other to provide maximum coverage or maximum intensity. The LED light heads on this unit measures 7 inches in diameter, which allows it to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points. The LED light head can be removed from the tripod, the tripod collapsed, and the entire assembly passed through a manhole and reassembled once inside. This unit is also multi-voltage capable and is configured to operate on 12-24 volts DC. Included with this LED light tripod is 25 feet of SOOW cord terminated in battery clamps, allowing the C1D2 LED light to be powered from low voltage batteries outside of the hazardous environment. This lamp is T3 temperature rated and the LED light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 100,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps. The light head can be removed and used separately from the tripod for added convenience. NOTE: For taller tripod mount applications or unstable, vibratory applications where operators might bump the light, the EPL-TP-1x150LED-100 is a better choice.
