Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGPD-SP-125-1D-45-3X50 heavy duty power transformer substation converts 480 VAC three phase electrical current to single phase 120/208Y AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480 VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This temporary power panel feeds two temporary services with 120/208Y single phase 50 amp power. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. The MGPD-SP-125-1D-45-3X50 heavy duty transformer provides a safe and effective way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize 480 VAC power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This unit is designed to operate with 3 phase 480 VAC which it then steps down to 120/208Y AC. This transformer makes 120/208Y AV available via two 50 amp breakers for each service connection. Protection is provided through the use of a fusible NEMA-3R disconnect and 60A fuses. The fused ON/OFF disconnect switch controls power to the 45 KVA, 480 Volt Transformer and provides positive current control. This unit is designed to allow operators to make their own power connections. The transformer and distribution assembly is mounted onto a rugged powder coated frame with integrated skid pockets to allow easy lifting and transport of the unit. The standard painted square steel tubing mounting frame can be replaced with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel or aluminum depending on the customers needs. This unit is of heavy duty construction and ideal for use in applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits and marine applications.
