Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL-15KVA-600.3P2X480.60-6X120.20 Temporary Power Distribution System converts three phase 600V AC electrical current into three phase 208Y/120V AC. This system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 600V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGL-15KVA-600.3P2X480.60-6X120.20 portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 600 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect three phase 600V using a customer-provided cord and to two ADR6034 receptacles for 600V equipment. On the secondary side, operators may access six 5-20R GFCI receptacles for 120V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Operation: A customer-provided cord brings 600V three phase power to the NEMA 3R 125-amp 600V three phase main lug only primary panel, which contains two 60-amp breakers protecting two 60-amp ADR6034 600V receptacles, as well as one 20-amp breaker protecting the transformer, and passes 600V three phase power to the transformer. The 15 KVA NEMA 3R transformer converts 600V to 208Y/120V three phase 60Hz and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer is equipped with a NEMA 3R 100-amp 208Y/120V three phase main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains six 20-amp 125V breakers protecting six 20-amp 5-20R GFCI 125V receptacles. Protective Construction: Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. This wheeled unit sits on a powder coated steel frame with run-flat wheels. Operators tilt the unit back to maneuver the unit and place it upright to stabilize the system. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly are mounted to a standard steel cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two rubber tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift eye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
