Structured Media Centers provide an excellent termination and mounting location for in-home structured wiring systems and components. The 14-inch Vented Hinged Door allows for improved wireless network reach, as opposed to standard metal doors that can limit the range of a wireless signal. The door can mount on plastic SMCs and on metal SMCs (when used with 49605-42T trim ring kit).
