The MK-1 by Larson Electronics is a Tactical LED Flashlight that produces 230 lumens of light output. This LED flashlight is unique in its high quality construction and features two push buttons, one for on/off button at the bottom of the base and one on the side of the base for strobing. The MK-1 LED Flashlight contains a rechargeable lithium ion battery and charges in two hours. Unlike NIMH based rechargeable, lithium ion batteries can be partially charged at will and have an eighteen month shelf life. This light comes complete with one battery, one hard wiring lead, one cigarette socket lead and one nylon belt carrying pouch.Battery: Rechargeable Lithium Ion 7.4V 2200mAh; Both positive and negative terminals at each end, can be installed either way. American IC electronic circuit protects battery from short circuit, shutting battery down preventing fire or possible explosion due to short circuit. The battery pack is encased in a specially designed sleeve which houses the electronics with shock absorbing inner springs (shock proof). The low battery red indicator light will give a 20 minute warning before the battery goes dead.Charger: The charger runs on 120/240 AC hard wire connections and has an overcharge protection so it will not damage the battery if the light is left on the charger. It is fused to protect against short circuit systems. A small LED light will illuminate if the fuse is blown. The charger is constructed of fire proof nylon, is lead free and is R.O.H.S. compliant.
