The J13816 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Timer for flammable work sites. This unit enables operators to apply timed settings for the Larson Electronics EXP-MS-30W-N4X explosion proof motion sensor. The timer is constructed of copper-free aluminum and is protected by a NEMA rated enclosure. The J13816 provides timed settings for the Larson Electronics EXP-MS-30W-N4X explosion proof motion sensor and other compatible equipment. This unit offers a range of 9 seconds to 120 minutes. During use, a relay holds the circuit open for 60-120 minutes. Upon detecting motion in the area, the timer is activated/set for 60-120 minutes. If the connected explosion proof motion sensor (EXP-MS-30W-N4X) is unable to detection motion during the duration of the timed setting, the device deactivates/turns off all connected lights in the facility. Constructed of copper-free aluminum, the ATEX/IECEX-rated timer is protected by a tempered soda lime glass lens. The explosion proof timer is rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B,C,D) and 9 (E,F,G) and designed to withstand the rigors of demanding environmental and operating conditions while remaining robust and easy to use.
