Made in the USA The EPL-TL-1X10W-C-PA-XFSW Explosion Proof Signal Light w/ Audible Alarm and External Float Switch from Larson Electronics is suitable for monitoring liquid levels inside flammable work sites. The ATEX-rated system provides visual notification via an LED strobe lamp and audio notifications via an audible horn. Constructed of 316 stainless steel, the external float switch operates magnetically and is capable of withstanding 2,000 psig (138 bar) of pressure. The EPL-TL-1X10W-C-PA-XFSW is a durable and reliable signal monitoring system for tanks, liquid containers and pumps. This explosion proof unit consists of an LED strobe light for illuminative signaling or notification, an audible horn for audio warnings and an external float switch for active monitoring of liquid levels. The external float switch must be installed inside the tank for real-time monitoring. This explosion proof system is configured for red, green, amber, blue, white or purple output and offers exceptional 1,050 lumen output. Operating on 120/240V AC or 24V DC configurations for standard or low voltage applications, the explosion proof audible alarm setup sounds a unique tone per the user setting. Multiple units can be configured for different lamp colors and different tones, providing operators in hazardous locations with an effective and powerful alert/signal system that can withstand demanding conditions and be heard over the operation of industrial machinery and equipment. A NEMA 4X rated explosion proof junction box protects the internal wiring and can be tapped in order to connect this stack light to power sources. The ATEX-rated lamp in this hazardous location stack light provides high output, offers a lifespan of 50,000 hours, and is protected by durable Pyrex globes and cast aluminum globe guards for added durability. This unit offers cool operation and clean, bright output surpassing that of 100-watt incandescent indicator lamps. The LED lamp utilizes colored LEDs instead of colored globes, providing more light output. We offer strobe or steady burn lamps for this fixture. The light housing is constructed of a polyester powder coated, copper free aluminum casting that can withstand 1,490 pounds PSI hydrostatic pressure. The housing on this explosion and water proof stack light is constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, while the horn is made out of fiberglass. The entire unit is finished in a durable gray powder coat for resistance to corrosion. This stack light is equipped with an explosion proof horn. Attached to the far end of the fixture, this audible horn provides operators with up to 5 different tones that can reach a peak output of 110dBA, powerful enough to be heard over industrial operations. There is no dimming or volume control for the lights or horns. Float Switch: This ATEX-rated system features an external float switch for monitoring liquid levels inside tanks. The device uses a magnetically actuated switching design (no bellows, springs, or seals) for reliable performance in rugged and flammable work sites. This SPDT snap switch unit comes with a 2000 psig (138 bar) pressure limit and a deadband (neutral zone) of 3/4". The explosion proof float switch is constructed of 316 stainless steel. Wiring/Mounting: Wiring is through a 3/4" NPT conduit access hub. The unit can be ordered in 120V or 240V AC configuration for use with standard line voltages or 24V DC for low voltage use. For the explosion proof signal stack light, mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp and tone combination. Operators can tap the C1D1 junction box in order to connect to a power source. The explosion proof float switch, which is installed inside the tank, can be mounted in a horizontal position.
