The HALD-12-4XIPS.6-LED-2XSL-1227-VSAMB is a hazardous location lay-in LED light fixture that is ideal for use in paint spray booths and hazardous environments where space for lighting fixtures is limited. This 24-watt fixture is T3 temperature rated and is a fully integrated LED unit. The 1x1 LED assembly is protected by an aluminum framed, hinged, 3/16" thick polycarbonate door that provides direct front access to the internal components. The lamp housing is designed for recessed mounting, and is constructed of non-sparking aluminum coated with a powder coated white finish.

This Class I, Division 2 hazardous location light fixture provides 5,200 lumens of high-quality amber and white light (with a 5000K color temperature rating) while drawing only 6 watts per lamp. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 50,000 hour rated lifespan with 70% lumen retention. Light weight and a low profile make this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier older fixtures and requires less hardware to install.

The hazardous location fixture contains a dual-circuit configuration, which allows separate control of each light color (at two LED lamps per light color) or operation of both colors simultaneously. Through this feature, operators may also choose to wire different switches for independent control of the lamps.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.

Voltage: This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 120-277V AC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast. The aluminum body and LED lamp gives this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries.

Mounting: This 1x1 fixture is designed for recessed mounting and requires a mounting hole to be made in booth panels capable of accommodating the fixture housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space in paint spray booth enclosures.

Applications: Hazardous locations and enclosed spaces where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present.
