Eaton Hydraulic actuated valves
EatonÕs hydraulically operated shut-off valve for aerial refueling wing pods is designed to isolate and/or direct fuel flow between wing pod and tanker aircraft fuel systems. High-pressure hydraulic fluid drives a cylinder controlled by a 28 VDC solenoid valve, which rotates a butterfly valve that opens or blocks the flow path. In the event of a loss of electric power or hydraulic pressure, the valve will move to the closed position. It also provides discreet electrical signals in open and closed positions.
