Onboard ships and service tanks store and distribute treated oil to the main engine, auxiliary engine, and boilers. There can be one or more of these tanks. The fuel oil and diesel oil servicing tanks have located in the engine room's bulkhead.
Female fuel line connectors reestablish a leak-proof connection between fuel lines and portable tanks. When connected to a portable gasoline tank, fuel line connections might lose their capacity to maintain a suitable seal over time.
