Heat shrink tubing is a thermoplastic tube that contracts when heated. It may protect against abrasion, gentle impact, cuts, moisture, and dust by covering individual wires or encasing complete arrays.

Cross-Linked Polyolefin tubing is significantly stronger than PVC tubing and does not burn. Heat-activated adhesive liner offers an impenetrable barrier against salt water, oil, acids, and sunshine, as well as strain alleviation. The heat shrink ratio shrinks to one-third of its original size. Thus, the operating temperature ranges between -40° C to 110° C and shrinks at 257° F/125° C.

Key Features:

  • Its sleeves keep moisture out while providing electrical insulation.

  • The shrink ratio of 1/3 of their original size guarantees that they will fit over connections while shrinking down enough to seal the cable.

  • Assist in keeping wires against abrasion, chemical resistance, and corrosion.

  • Wire and cable organization into manageable bundles

  • A smoother texture and a polished look

  • Insulation, both electrical and thermal
