The Faria Beede Instruments, Inc. SENDER (F90530) transmitting unit sends a signal to a single rudder angle gauge to indicate the current rudder position. The electric rudder angle indicator makes use of the synchronization of synchronized motors. The sending synchronized motors are assigned the rotation angle matching the rudder angle. Then, that angle is electrically communicated to the receiving synchronized engine, which mirrors the dial's pointer.
