It also helps the oil transport to the cooler in tight installation spaces. When the oil is moving, it often heats up to a considerable extent and is cooled using oil/ air heat exchangers. The lines compensate for tolerances of the components to each other and also engine movements. Oil line is used in large engine vehicles and high-power engines.
