The Larson Electronics MPD-CART-V5-WC steel frame cube skid is designed for mounting equipment for mobility and transportation of transformers and power distribution systems around the job site. The MPD-CART-V5-WC has external dimensions of 40.00"H x 25.00"W x 27.00"D.

The MPD-CART-V5-WC steel cube style frame provides an extremely stable, durable, and mobile platform for existing transformers and equipment. Locking casters, skid pockets, and top located pick eye combined with a solid mounting platform for customer provided equipment provides easier substation mobility. This industrial grade skid platform can be modified to meet the needs of job-site requirements.Ê

Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The customer provided transformer and equipment is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets, locking polyurethane casters, and a top located lifting eyelet which allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer`s needs. The dimensions of this unit are as follows:
