The RNT-EPF-AC-30-EPP.CE16A Class I Division 1 Portable Evaporative Cooling System is rated for use in hazardous location work environments. This explosion proof powder coated air chiller combines a non-sparking fan and dry mist technology to cool Class I Division 1 work areas that do not have access to traditional air conditioning. This portable cooling features a 34 gallon tank and a water filter to cool the work environment for up to 8 hours. The RNT-EPF-AC-30-EPP.CE16A is equipped with a C1D2 pin/sleeve cord cap.

This Larson Electronics evaporative cooling unit is rated Class I Division 1 & 2, Group D and Class II Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F & G explosion proof environments. Using dry mist technology, this air chiller ensures that your work environment stays dry while lowering the ambient temperature. At 36" wide by 39" deep by 66" tall, this evaporative cooling unit can reach an evaporation zone of 5`-10`. With a 30" inch fan and eight spray nozzles, this unit is applicable to work areas with smaller access ways. This portable cooling system will automatically shut off once the water reservoir is empty, so operators don`t need to worry about burning out the pumps. The RNT-EPF-AC-30-EPP.CE16A has an ambient temperature rating of 10¡ to 65¡C.

With a fan unit running at 8723 RPM, this portable misting unit can chill down any industrial or commercial space in need of a cool down. Since one tank can easily last an entire work shift, there is no need for messy hose connections running throughout the work space. It is designed to be self-maintaining, therefore operators will not need to interrupt their work to replace pads or clean the nozzles.

This unit comes with a 30" spark proof aluminum blade and enclosed wire and motors. The fan blades are spark resistant and the unit is easily transported to various job sites. This cooler is easily transferred with 6" pneumatic wheels and connects via a 20` cord terminating in an explosion proof plug. This unit operates on 120 V or 220 V AC and has an amp draw of 6.62 A on a 120 V AC system.

Wiring & Plug: This explosion proof air mister is equipped with 20 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an Ex rated IEC 60309 cord cap that is rated for 16 amps and is suitable for EX II 2 G, EEx ed IIC T6, Ex II 2 D IP 66 T80¡C, and IP66 rated. The cord cap is available in either 125 V or 250 V configurations. The 125 V cord cap is colored yellow and the 250 V cord cap is colored blue.**PLEASE NOTE** The cord cap on this unit must be connected OUTSIDE the C1D1 environment or the unit MUST be operated in a C1D2 environment.
