Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGS-15KVA-120-240-30AFT-60A-TW heavy duty power transformer substation converts 480 VAC single phase or three phase electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This unit is designed to operate with 480 VAC which it then steps down to 120 and 240 VAC. This portable transformer makes 120VAC available via 10 GFCI protected receptacles and 240VAC available via two L6-30R 240VAC outlets. Also Included with this transformer is an ADR6034 60 amp receptacle and ACP6034BC 60 amp plug for 60 amp feed through capability. Click Photo to Enlarge Click Photo to Enlarge Click Photo to Enlarge The MGS-15KVA-120-240-30AFT-60A-TW converts 480 VAC single phase to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC via a 15 KVA transformer. Protection is provided through the use of 10 GFCI protected outlets and integral breaker boxes on both input and line outs. 20 Feet of Line Power Type-W cable connects to a fused ON/OFF disconnect switch which controls power to the 15 KVA, 480 Volt Transformer. The transformer and distribution assembly is mounted onto a rugged frame constructed of 2 inch square carbon steel with 3X6X3/8 tubular carbon steel skid pockets and a top located lifting eyelet to allow easy transport. All terrain 23" tall by 7.5" trailer tires provide easy mobility around the workplace without the need for mechanical lifiting devices. The steel skid is mounted to two trailer axles with 16" steel trailer rims. This unit is weatherproof and ideal for use in applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows and exhibits and marine applications. These units are popularly used in hazardous locations where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with explosion proof lights.
