This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable panel is designed to operate with 480 volts. The power distribution on this unit runs 480V AC through a 300-amp main lug only panel. One ground fault indicator system is available for monitoring electrical connections. Wiring: The MGP series of portable power distribution panels require operators to provide their own line-in cables for use. Knockouts are provided for convenient installation of operator provided cables. Power: A customer provided cord brings 480V AC three-phase power into the 400-amp disconnect, which is fused at 300 amps. The main lug only panel is protected by a 300-amp load center with breakers for circuit protection. A ground fault indicator system is factory installed. This portable panel is equipped with one 250-amp breaker, feeding three 100-amp pin/sleeve IEC 60309 IP67 receptacle, and two 50-amp breakers for feeding two 50-amp pump control panels and two 30-amp breakers for feeding two 30-amp pump control panels. The load center is mounted within the NEMA 3R enclosure. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is constructed of 304 stainless steel is mounted to a galvanized steel upright dolly cart style frame with locking casters, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and mobile power distribution platform. A galvanized roof protects the unit from sunlight, debris and corrosive elements. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.
