This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable panel is designed to operate with 480 volts. A 112.5 KVA 480V-208Y/120 three phase transformer is provided for 208Y/120 equipment. The power distribution on this unit runs 480V AC through a 250-amp main lug only panel. Wiring: Operators bring 480V three-phase power to the portable distribution system using (3) 20` 4/4 Type W cords with 100-amp pin/sleeve cord caps (IP67 rated). Power: (3) 20` 4/4 Type W cords with a 1000-amp pin/sleeve cord caps (IP67 rated) bring 480V AC three-phase power into the 250-amp main lug only panel. The main lug only panel is protected by a 250-amp load center with breakers for circuit protection. This portable panel is equipped with one 175-amp, 3-pole breaker, protecting a 112.5 KVA transformer; and two 125-amp, 3-pole breakers, protecting two 100-amp IEC 60309 pin/sleeve IP67 rated receptacles. Two 70-amp, 3-pole; one 60-amp, 3-pole; three 30-amp, 3-pole; and two 20-amp, 3-pole breakers are also available in the portable panel. The transformer converts 480V three phase power to 208Y/120 three phase and passes the current to customer provided equipment. The load center is mounted within the NEMA 4X enclosure. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is constructed of 304 stainless steel and is mounted to a galvanized steel upright dolly cart style frame with locking casters, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and mobile power distribution platform. A galvanized roof protects the unit from sunlight, debris and corrosive elements. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.
