The RE-PML-LED-V1-FCA-WR-JL-2019 No-Drill Fender Mount LED Light is a powerful, compact spotlight for 2019 Jeep Wranglers. This 18-watt unit mounts to existing fender holes on the vehicle for no-drill, bolt-on installations. Constructed using UV stabilized polycarbonate with stainless steel and Delrin hardware, the weather-resistant LED spotlight features wireless remote control operation. The RE-PML-LED-V1-FCA-WR-JL-2019 is suitable for 2019 Jeep Wrangler vehicles requiring a seamless no-drill, bolt-on mounting solution and wireless remote operation. This 18-watt LED light provides 1,800 lumens of output in a spot beam configuration for illuminating far-flung targets or objects. Equipped with a PAR36 LED lamp, the unit is offered with the following color temperature options: 3000K, 4500K or 6000K. Operators can position the light head using a wireless remote control. Additionally, the spotlight utilizes "slip drive" motors, which enables the operator to hand position the unit if they choose without causing damage to the motors. The weather-resistant LED light is constructed of UV stabilized polycarbonate, with a brass rear base and backplate. All internal moving components are made from stainless steel and Delrin (acetal copolymer). The motor assemblies, shafts, brackets and other structural items are stainless steel, while the gears are made from a self lubricating grade of Delrin (acetal copolymer). Delrin is a unique resin designed by Dupont and is commonly used as an alternative to steel in applications where saltwater, chemicals and high heat are an issue. Delrin is chemical resistant, oil resistant, saltwater resistant and maintains its properties in sub zero temperatures (-40¡C) and temperatures well over 200¡C. These materials are chosen for their ability to provide long lasting durability in inclement environments, making this remote controlled light an ideal solution for mining, oilfield and saltwater applications. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units contain advanced drivers which use pulse width modulation to control heat buildup rather than simple voltage regulators which are typically harsh on sensitive electronics and can contribute to early LED failure. These units automatically sense the temperature of each LED and adjust the energy frequency or "duty cycle" accordingly to maintain heat levels within acceptable ranges. This system in essence flashes current at an extremely fast on and off rate to each LED based upon the LED’s core temperature. This flash rate is too fast to detect with the human eye, but provides precise control of the current flowing to each LED and thus the heat it generates. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 100% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The LEDs are always driven at the same voltage but the duty cycle, however, is changed to alter how long the LEDs are actually on or off. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours. Remote: The dash mounted remote control features an on/off button, a fast/slow selector and 4 directional buttons. The motorized remote control spotlight will move in a direction as long as the button is depressed. Once released, the LED spotlight will hold that position. Based on radio waves (not infrared), the unit is effective up to 150 feet. This remote control is compatible with dash-mounting applications because once the rubber cover is removed, the unit can be attached to any mounting surface by fastening 4 screws through the holes on the unit. The rubber cover is replaced, providing weather resistant protection to the internal electronics. Powered by 2 MN-21 batteries, which are included and last approximately 1 year, the remote control has a series of dip switches. The dip switches enable the user to select one of 65,000 channels to communicate with a specific remote control spotlight. Wiring: The RE-PML-LED-V1-FCA-WR-JL-2019 comes with 6` of 12V DC wiring leads for connection to a customer-provided battery under the hood of the vehicle. Mount: This LED spotlight mounts to the fender of 2019 Jeep Wrangler vehicles without drilling holes. Our seamless L-bracket mounting solution utilizes existing fender bolt holes, which ensures compatibility and a secure fit that does not damage the vehicle. The mounting holes are located on left/right side of the hood, below the side mirror. Applications: 2019 Jeep Wranglers, vehicle spotlights, outdoor illumination, off roading, hunting, outdoor activities, camping and more.
