Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGS-30KVA-8X120.20-1X240.20-1x240.30 heavy duty power distribution system is designed for use for linear (motor) loads and converts 480 VAC single phase electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power to power up to eight 20-amp, 120V devices, one 20-amp, 240V device, and one 30-amp, 240V device. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The MGS-30KVA-8X120.20-1X240.20-1x240.30 mobile power distribution system provides a safe and effective way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant turn-arounds, maintenance and cleaning, equipment installations and repairs. This unit is designed to operate with 480V which it then steps down to 120V and 240 VAC single phase. This transformer makes 120VAC available via eight GFCI protected 120 volt double gang receptacles with weatherproof covers, each protected by a dedicated circuit breaker. This power distribution system also provides operators with 240VAC, via a 20-amp (L6-20 receptacle with cover) and 30-amp (L6-30 receptacle with cover). The transformer is mounted to a 1/8” thick steel base plate and the distribution assembly is mounted within a rugged 2-inch square tube steel frame with four 8-inch, locking casters and a top located lifting eyelet to allow easy transport. A forklift can be used to lift the unit as well via skid pockets integrated into the base floor plate. This unit is configured for linear loads and as such is suited for use powering electric motors and industrial equipment. All components carry a NEMA 3R rating and the entire steel frame is powder coated. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such can build transformers to your specifications.
