This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 240V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable spiderbox is designed to operate with 240V AC 60Hz which it steps down to 120V AC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 240V AC available via one 50-amp, 240V receptacle and one 30-amp, 240V receptacle. Operators can also access 120V AC via three 20-amp GFCI 5-20R duplex receptacles and three 20-amp standard 5-20R duplex receptacles. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. 5-20 120V, GFCI Receptacle Breaker Panel 30 Amp Receptacle 50 Amp Receptacle Cord Reel Side Profile Description: A 50` 6/4 Type W line-in power cord with a 60-amp 360P6W 3P4W cord cap brings 240V AC into the portable panel. The main circuit breaker panel is protected by a 100-amp load center with includes breakers for circuit protection. The portable panel contains one 50-amp breaker protecting one 240V receptacle, one 30-amp breaker protecting one 240V receptacle, three 20-amp breakers protecting three 20-amp, 120V, 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles, and three 20-amp breakers protecting three 20-amp standard 120V, 5-20R receptacles. The load center is mounted within the NEMA 3R enclosure. Protective Construction: The distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution spiderbox can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Full power distribution units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4x equipment can be equipped upon request.
