This portable LED light tower has two removable LED light heads mounted on top of a four leg aluminum quadpod for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The LED light heads on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas such as tanks and containers and is suitable for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. This light is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine and petrochemical operations where durability and reliability is critical. This portable LED light is comprised of two removable LED light heads mounted atop a four leg quadpod fabricated from light weight aluminum. This adjustable and collapsible quadpod pod can be extended to ten feet in two inch increments and collapsed to seven feet, while included solid wheels enable the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location. The explosion proof LED light fixture can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position. Included with this LED light quadpod is 100 feet of SOOW cord which combined with 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light heads provide an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights. The lamp housings on this light are weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. This hazardous location light contains two sets of thirty CREE XLamp XPG¨ five watt LEDs producing 493 lumens each. These LEDs are arranged in rows and paired with high purity optics to produce 14,790 lumens per head and a 60 degree flood beam while only drawing 25 amps on 12V DC, making these units ideal for use as highly efficient yet powerful work and area lights. The HAL-QP-2X150LED-LV-100 hazardous location LED light is an ideal replacement for fragile and hot running 400 watt metal halide floodlights. Each LED light head on this unit measures 15 inches in width, 11 inches in height, and 14 inches in depth which allows it to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points. The LED light heads can be removed from the quadpod, the quadpod collapsed, and the entire assembly passed through a manhole and reassembled once inside. This unit is also multi-voltage capable and can configured to operate on 12-24 volts DC.
