Equipped with two UV lamps, the unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (254nm). This system sanitizes mats up to 24" and 26" wide. Protected by an aluminum housing, the UV disinfecting device operates on single-phase 120V and comes with a 15' cord terminated in a 120V cord cap. *Please note: This product produces UV light. Equipped with two UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers UV output within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm). These lamps DO NOT produce ozone. The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern with 180 degrees of coverage. Inside the UV cleaner, one lamp is located at the top and one UV lamp can be found at the bottom. This lamp configuration ensures both sides of the mat are cleaned simultaneously. A durable PEF coating makes the lamps shatter resistant and provides protection from impacts. Should the bulb break during an emergency, the internal contents and glass will remain trapped inside the unit. This coating adds an extra layer of safety for workers and customers alike. Operators may access an on/off switch on the unit for activation. Two indicator lights (one per UV lamp) notify individuals about the real-time status of the lamps. When the indicator lights are not on, a lamp change is required. Brushes protect nearby individuals from UV exposure. This component is also designed to reduce stray UV light during treatment. Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
