The EXP-EMG-TL-1X10W-PA-M1 from Larson Electronics is a Hazardous Location LED Warning Light & Siren with Emergency Battery Backup that is approved for use in hazardous locations. This system features an LED lamp, industrial siren, and emergency battery pack. The EXP-EMG-TL-1X10W-PA-M1 is designed to be hardwired and is available in 120 V or 240 V configurations.

The EXP-EMG-TL-1X10W-PA-M1 is a complete warning system for mounting and use within hazardous locations. This system features a powerful LED lamp and industrial siren, which are secured on a backplate with a sturdy clamp for surface mounting or I-beam mounting. The system is powered using common 120V or 240V outlets. The emergency battery backup system will run the unit for up to 3 hours if power is lost.

Featuring a bright flashing pattern with 360-degrees of visibility, color options for the hazardous location LED lamp includes amber, red, green, blue or white. This hazardous location LED lamp consists of a glass-filled thermoset polyester body that is non-metallic and corrosion resistant. A lamp guard protects the light head on the NEMA 4X rated fixture from rough contact. Designed for indoor and outdoor locations, the LED light does not contain exposed glass, making it suitable for food processing and manufacturing sites.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Industrial Siren: The industrial siren provides audio-based notifications and includes 8 different tones which can reach peak output of 110dBA and can be remotely operated for priority alerts. The housing on this horn is constructed of heavy duty aluminum and the horn is formed fiberglass. The entire unit is finished in durable grey powder coat for resistance to corrosion, is weatherproof/dustproof, and NEMA 4X/marine rated for wet environments.

Tones:ÊÊ Selectable by switch on sound module
1) Continuously running train of eight sounds in sequence
2) Wail - conventional siren
3) Yelp - rapid siren
4) Two- tone
5) Whoop - ascending low to high
6) Yeow - descending high to low
7) Horn - Steady
8) Beep - slow intermittent horn
9) Stutter - rapid intermittent horn

Wiring: This warning system does not come with a cord. It is designed to be hardwired with customer provided wiring.

Mount: Mounting for the LED lamp and industrial siren is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. A custom designed clamping bracket allows for easy attachment of the unit to I-beams as well. The component's ability to resist bending ensures stable performance in rough environments. After securing the preferred position on the beam, the operator can then tighten the bracket using the two adjustable handles. It is important to tighten both handles evenly and securely to prevent shaking or uneven positioning.

Suggested Applications: Delivery Bays, Warehouses, Manufacturing, Pedestrian Safety, Compliance, Industrial Warning Systems, or Locations Where Combustible Dust is Present.
