Golight Magnetic Mount Shoe Base. The Golight slides into the shoe base. A lever on the side locks the light into the shoe base, while a spring loaded button ensures the light cannot slide out of the front of the shoe. The top of the shoe wraps around the base of the light, ensuring the light cannot slide out the back of the shoe. 40lb grip magnetic base consists a series of bar magnets covered with a non-slip rubber film.
