The GL-9149-M Golight Radioray from Larson Electronics is a 36 Watt LED motorized spotlight that operates with a hand held wired remote control. This particular model is available in black and has a removable magnetic mount shoe base. It produces a wide spot beam with an effective working beam of 900 feet long by 70 feet wide. The GL-9149-M Golight Radioray is designed for use in all weather conditions and produces 2,500 lumen of intense light output. These units feature remote control operation that allows users to rotate the light 370 degrees with a hard stop and to adjust vertical tilt through 135 degrees. Remote operation is provided by one hand held wired remote controller that operates on the 16 foot power cord with a cigarette plug. Remote Operation: Remote control functions include on/off, and 4 buttons which control up, down, left and right movement. The light will continue movement as long as the buttons are pressed. Releasing the buttons stops movement and holds the Golight in position. The hand held wired remote control is attached to the light through a 16 foot cord. Durability: The GL-9419-M Golight Radioray is designed for hunting and demanding outdoor use with a weather resistant housing constructed of high quality ASA Luran thermoplastic that is heat resistant, impact resistant, UV resistant and able to withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. This particular Golight is black in color, making it ideal for docks and buildings where an attractive appearance is desired. Remote movement of this spotlight is provided by an automotive grade internal motor, gear, and transmission assembly that is constructed of LEXAN, brass, and stainless steel to provide rust and corrosion resistance as well as long life and reliable operation. Mounting: The light slides on and off the base of the light. When the shoe is installed, a spring loaded button pops up locking the light into the base. The shoe base completely encapsulates the suction cup base. When the base is removed, the light can be mounted using the suction cup and the locking lever on the side to activate suction mount. The suction cup mount is released via side mount lever. The suction cup is not suitable for moving vehicles, boats, etc. The magnetic base offers 40 pounds of magnetic grip which is only suitable for temporary use and not recommended for moving vehicles. Power: This light operates with 12 volts DC and draws 3 amps, making it ideal for vehicles, boats, ATVs, and similar sources of 12 volt direct current. On this particular model, the light has a 16 foot cord that ends in a cigarette plug. The wiring harness is Y-shaped, with the cord attached to the light at one end and cigarette plug at the other end. The hand held remote control is in the center, linking the two cords. This enables the controller to turn the light on/off in addition to adjusting the tilt and rotation.
