Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPL-TX-5A-12V-4FT-14.3 explosion proof stepdown transformer converts commonly used 120-277V AC electrical current to 12V DC at 5 amps. This unit can be operated with input current ranging from 100 to 277 VAC and will output 60 watts at 5 amps on a 12 Volt DC current. This explosion proof power converter features an IP67 rated waterproof cast aluminum housing, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use and includes integral short circuit and overload protection that will shut down the unit in case of faults and overloads to protect the unit and connected equipment from damage. This explosion proof stepdown transformer has a universal input voltage ranging from 100V through 277V AC 50/60Hz. This includes commonly found voltages such as 120V, 220V, 230V, 240V, and 277V AC input that are stepped down to 12V DC output. The primary side of thie explosion proof stepdown transformer is equipped with four feet of 14/3 SOOW cable that is terminated with a blunt cut end and comes factory sealed. The secondary, or output, side of the EPL-TX-5A-12V-4FT-14.3 requires operator provided line-out cable. The output sides of this transformer is terminated in an EYS seal off with CGB cord grip. Enough Chico fiber and compound is provided for operators to seal the output side of this explosion proof stepdown transformer after cable is installed.
