The EPL-50-120x12-EHR transformer is contained on the back of the reel which holds contains 50’ of SOOW 16/3 AWG cord. This hazardous location hand lamp is designed with an explosion proof slip-ring housing and is Class 1 Division 1 Groups C and D hazardous location environment approved. The non sparking reel contains this unit’s 50` of SOOW Cord for convenient cord management. This explosion proof reel and incandescent hand lamp can be installed and used within the hazardous location area making it ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired.40` Container Dark Illuminated by EPL-50-120x12-EHR Picture provided so that user may see the beam in action at first 40` from source. This 50 watt fluorescent light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various flammable chemicals are present and projects a strong light beam with good peripheral illumination and a well defined central spot beam. The Class 1, Division 1 rated reel contains 50’ of SOOW 16/3 AWG cord, a spark free ratchet and explosion proof slip-ring housing and meets federal specification JC-580A. This hand lamp has the transformer mounted on the reel so the operator doesn`t need to drag the transformer housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the transformer becomes entangled in the cord. The transformer is lightweight and incorporated onto the back of the reel so that operator can easily move to different positions without having to stop and adjust an inline transformer unit. The feedback on this feature has been very positive. Voltage: The inline transformer in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These drop lights can operate on current ranging from 120 to 277V AC without any modifications necessary as a result, which is stepped down to 12V DC to operate the low voltage spotlight. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature lamp failure without it.Wiring: This explosion proof spotlight is equipped with 50` of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord contained within an explosion proof cord reel. The step down transformer is located on the input side of the cord reel.Specifications / Additional Information EPL-50-120x12-EHR Work LightRatings/ApprovalsListing: United StatesClass 1, Division 1 for Groups C, D Input Voltage: 120-277V ACJC-580A CompliantOutput Voltage: 12V DCReel - Class I, Zone 1, AEx d IIB.Total Watts: 50 watts4-roller adjustable cable guide and ballMounting: Non Sparking ReelSpring activated ratchetWiring: 50` SOOW Cord terminated within ReelLux: At 1 Meter: 55,000Special Orders- RequirementsLux: At Lens: 200,000 Contact us for special requirements View the Explosion Proof Light Design DescriptionToll Free: 888-325-4448View Dimensional Drawing of Explosion Proof Cord ReelIntl: 1-903-270-1187This fixture is being remanufactured with cord reel under file number E193373.E-mail: [email protected] Scroll Down to Purchase-
