The EPL-TX-DC-24V-42W-9V from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Power Supply that takes 24V DC and converts it into 9V DC. This allows operators to use equipment such as LED or HID lights that require 9V DC power from commonly used 24V DC electrical current. The EPL-TX-DC-24V-42W-9V is rated for Class I Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C and D, Class II Division 1 Groups E, F and G and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous areas.The EPL-TX-DC-24V-42W-9V features durable aluminum construction and a choice of 1/2" or 3/4" NPT hub sizes. The precision cast and machined surface permit safer wire pulling and the precision NPT-threaded hubs allow for trouble-free field installation of rigid conduit.The EPL-TX-DC-24V-42W-9V explosion proof power supply is operated on 24V DC. The unit converts this DC power input to 42 watt, 4.67 Amp 9V DC output. Integrally designed protection includes overload, short circuit and over voltage safeguards to prevent overheating and unit damage in case of faults or overly heavy current draw. This unit will shut down when an over current fault is encountered and automatically resume operation once the fault is repaired or removed.
