Made in the USA The Larson Electronics ATEX-EPJ-2-TB.6 Explosion Proof Outlet Enclosure offers reliable protection for electrical connections inside combustible work sites. This explosion proof accessory is made out of copper-free aluminum and contains two accessible ports. A 6-point terminal block mouned inside the straight passthrough enclosure faciliates wiring connections. The ATEX-EPJ-2-TB.6 is a sturdy explosion proof outlet body for electrical connections in flammable environments. This unit features a straight passthrough hub configuration and two ports. Operators may access a 6-point terminal block inside the enclosure, which is mounted on raised pads. Rated at 300V/20A, the terminal block accepts wire sizes ranging between #22-#12AWG. This explosion proof accessory is constructed of copper-free aluminum and finished with an electrostatically-applied powder coating. The compact unit features a cover that is ideal for wet locations when mounted upright. Equipped with external cover threads to prevent damage when pulled, the explosion proof outlet body is suitable for Class I, Division 1 & 2; Class I, Zone 1 & 2; Class II, Division 1 & 2; and Class III flammable work sites. Mounting: The ATEX-EPJ-2-TB.6 is compatible with surface or conduit mount configurations and is equipped with two 3/4" or 1/2" NPT hubs for completing connections during installation.
