Made in the USAThe Larson Electronics EPL-72-150LED-SFC Surface Mount Explosion Proof LED Light Fixture is U.S./Canada UL Listed Class 1 Divisions 1 & 2 for areas where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors exist or have the potential to exist. This six foot explosion proof LED light has a T4A temperature rating and is designed for low profile mounting to make the maximum use of available space.The EPL-72-150LED-SFC is comprised of solid state design LEDs, making this explosion proof LED fixture highly resistant to shock and vibrations and cooler running than comparable incandescent and HID light fixtures. This 120 Watt LED fixture draws less than one amp on a 120 Volt AC power system while producing 10,500 lumens of bright white light, producing efficiency that reduces power consumption and operating costs without compromising light output or quality. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. The LED lamp produces 10,500 lumens with a color temperature of 5000K and a color rendering index of 70, which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries.
