Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPL-AEB-8.12.6-5X1-2X2 explosion proof enclosure provides operators with a Class I and II, Division 1 and 2 cast aluminum enclosure designed to hold electrical equipment up to 8" by 12" by 6" in size. This explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AEB-8.12.6-5X1-2X2 explosion proof enclosure is made of cast aluminum, is equipped with stainless steel hinge and bolts, and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 8" in length by 12" in width by 6" in height. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. Mounting is provided by four ears, two per side of the enclosure. The EPL-AEB-8.12.6-5X1-2X2 features seven factory tapped NPT hubs to allow operators to run conduit into the enclosure. This explosion proof enclosure has hub sizes including 1" and 2" NPT threaded hubs. The EPL-AEB-8.12.6-5X1-2X2 features five (5) 1" NPT hubs and two (2) 2" NPT hubs.
