The GAU-EMG-2X5W-LED-WP from Larson Electronics is a Bug Eye Emergency LED Fixture that is suitable for wet locations. The GAU-EMG-2X5W-LED-WP contains fully adjustable, dual LED light heads and will operate for at least 90 minutes in the event of a power failure or outage. This 120/277V unit contains an external momentary push-to-test switch and has a 24-hour battery recharge time following emergency operation. The GAU-EMG-2X5W-LED-WP bug eye LED fixture is ideal for installation in rugged work sites and wet locations that require emergency illumination in the event of a power failure or power outage. This fixture features dual LED light heads that are configured in a bug eye layout and a 90-minute emergency backup feature. Light Features: The GAU-EMG-2X5W-LED-WP features two LED lamps that each contain 12 high-output LEDs. This emergency LED fixture features over voltage/surge protection and has a low voltage disconnect which prevents damage to the battery caused by a deep discharge. This push-to-test LED fixture will run for at least 90 minutes after a power failure thanks to the maintenance-free 3.6 volt NiCad battery. After emergency use, the battery takes 24 hours to completely recharge. Suitable for wet locations, the bug eye system is protected by an injection-molded, impact resistant V-0 flame retardant themoplastic housing and a polycarbonate lens. The fully gasketed unit features solid state circuitry. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Emergency Operation: The GAU-EMG-2X5W-LED-WP features a backup battery that will run the fixture for at least 90 minutes following a power outage or any other loss of power. The included emergency backup battery is a 3.6 volt NiCad rechargeable unit. The 900 mAh power cell is maintenance-free and capable of operating in a wide variety of conditions including in temperatures ranging from 50¡F to +104¡F. This unit also features a low voltage disconnect. This means that if the fixture detects that the battery`s terminal voltage has fallen below a certain level, the low voltage circuit will disconnect the emergency lighting load until normal power is restored. This prevents the battery from experiencing a deep discharge and becoming damaged. Mounting: The GAU-EMG-2X5W-LED-WP is designed to be wall, ceiling or surface mounted to flat surfaces. A universal, included mounting plate ensures secure installations. The LED light heads are fully adjustable and can be positioned after installing the LED emergency light.
