On the 480 Volt primary side, this power distribution system offers six 60-amp, 3-wire, 4-pole, 460R7W receptacles. On the secondary side, operators can use eight 20-amp, 120 Volt GFCI outlets for single phase equipment. ProtectionOperators provide line-in cable connections to the primary 480V, 200-amp main breaker NEMA 3R panel. The primary main breaker protects six 60-amp breakers protecting the 460R7W receptacles. A 100-amp breaker protects power to the 75KVA NEMA 3R transformer which steps down 480 Volt, 3-phase to 208Y/120, 3-phase. The transformer passes power to the 200-amp, 208Y/120 NEMA 3R main breaker panel. The secondary main breaker protects the eight 20-amp breakers which are protecting ten 5-20R duplex receptacles with watertight covers. The transformer and load assembly is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with top located tool tray, forklift skid pockets, locking polyurethane casters, and a top located lifting eyelet which allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. This unit is weatherproof and ideal for use in applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows and exhibits and marine applications. These units are popularly used in hazardous locations where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with explosion proof lights.
