Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGL-120V-60APS-1PH-1X30ATL Mobile Power Transformer System steps up single phase 120V AC electrical current to single phase 240V AC. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 120V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This portable spiderbox is suitable for outdoor applications. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in work areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 120V 60hz which it steps up to 240V AC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 240V AC available via one 30-amp 250V L6-30R receptacle. Operation: Twenty feet of #4 SOOW line in power cord terminated in a 60-amp 125V 360P4W cord cap is included to connect the transformer to a 120V primary power supply. The NEMA 3R 7.5 KVA transformer converts 120V single phase to 240V single phase and passes the current to one 30-amp 250V L6-30R receptacle, which is protected by two 30-amp 250V time delay fuses. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. For even more stability, the MGL-120V-60APS-1PH-1X30ATL features a rear-mounted kick stand that can easily be deployed when the unit is in the desired position. This kick stand increases the stability of this unit so that the risk of it being knocked over or falling down are almost completely eliminated. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.
