Made in Texas The Larson Electronics EP-MGL-480V-3KVA-1X120.20A-GFCI temporary explosion proof power distribution system converts 480V AC single phase electrical current to 120V AC. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power in Class I, Division 2 flammable work sites. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and UseThe EP-MGL-480V-3KVA-1X120.20A-GFCI explosion proof portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt equipment from a single system in Class I, Division 2 work sites. On the primary side, operators connect 480 volt via 20` of 12/3 SOOW cord, equipped with a 2W3P explosion proof 480V cord cap (compatible with CESD2213 and CES2213 receptacles). On the secondary side, operators connect to one, double-gang 20-amp C1D2 outlet for 120V equipment. Operation: Twenty-feet of 12/3 SOOW cord with a 2W3P explosion proof 480V cord cap (compatible with CESD2213 and CES2213 receptacles) brings 480V single phase power to the 15-amp 480V single phase C1D1 explosion proof disconnect and passes 480V through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 3 KVA C1D2 explosion proof transformer converts 480V single phase power to 120/240V AC single phase. Operators are provided with access to one double-gang GFCI-protected C1D2 120V explosion proof outlet. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated, tubular steel cart frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two, no-flat rubber wheels and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and the upper handle allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
