Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGL-600V-15KVA-8X120.20A-2X240.30A Temporary Power Distribution System converts 600VAC electrical current to single phase 120/240V. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 600VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit features a built-in cord wrap for customer provided cable and a top located eyelet for picking. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and UseThe MGL-600V-15KVA-8X120.20A-2X240.30A temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 240 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 600V line-in power via 25` of #10 SOOW cord. On the secondary side, operators connect to two L6-30R receptacles for 240V equipment and to eight GFCI duplex receptacles for 120V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Operation: A 25` #10 SOOW cord brings 600VAC power to the NEMA 3R 30-amp, 600V three phase primary disconnect, which contains two 30-amp time delay fuses, and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15 KVA transformer converts 600V to 120/240V single phase and passes power to a secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 100-amp, 120/240V main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains two 30-amp breakers protecting two 30-amp, 250V L6-30R receptacles and eight 20-amp breakers protecting eight 20-amp, 125V GFCI duplex receptacles. Protective Construction: This wheeled unit sits on a powder coated steel frame with run-flat wheels. Operators tilt the unit back to maneuver the unit and place it upright to stabilize the system. Operators can lay the unit parallel to the ground and pass this power distribution system through a 24-inch square man-way. This power distribution system measures 23 inches square by 56 inches tall. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard steel cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two rubber tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift pickeye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
