Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL-60AFT.600-15KVA-8X120.20A-2X240.30A temporary power distribution system converts 600V AC electrical current into 120/240V single phase. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 600V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGL-60AFT.600-15KVA-8X120.20A-2X240.30A portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 600 volt, 240 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect three-phase 600V AC using a 25` #8 Type W cord and to one 460R5W receptacle for 600V equipment. On the secondary side, operators connect to two L6-30R receptacles for 240V equipment and to eight 5-20R GFCI quad receptacles for 120V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Operation: A 25` #8 Type W cord brings three-phase 600V power to the NEMA 3R 60-amp 600V three phase primary disconnect in a feed-through configuration, which contains three 60-amp time delay fuses protecting one 60-amp 600V 460R5W receptacle, and passes three-phase 600V power through to the second primary disconnect. The second disconnect on the primary side is a NEMA 3R 30-amp 600V three-phase unit, which contains two 30-amp time delay fuses, and passes single-phase 600V to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15 KVA transformer converts 600V to 120/240V single phase and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 100-amp single phase 120/240V main lug only panel. This secondary side contain two 30-amp 2-pole 250V breakers protecting two 30-amp 250V L6-30R receptacles and eight 20-amp 1-pole 125V breakers protecting eight 20-amp 125V 5-20R GFCI quad receptacles. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Equipped with a backplate, a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility; and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
