Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL-400V-15KVA-240D.120-1X30A temporary power distribution system converts 400V AC to three phase 240V AC. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 400V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The MGL-400V-15KVA-240D.120-1X30A power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 250V volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 400 volt via 25` of #10 SOOW cord with a 30-amp 480V L1630P cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to one CS8369 receptacle for 250V AC equipment. All receptacles are protected by weatherproof covers. Operation: A 25` #10 SOOW cord with a 30-amp 480V L1630P cord cap brings 400V three phase power to the 30-amp 480V disconnect, which is fused at 30 amps and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15 KVA transformer converts 400V three phase power to 240V three phase and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 40-amp 240D/120V main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains one 30-amp breaker, protecting one 50-amp 250V CS8369 twist-lock receptacle. With the receptacle fused at 30 amps (even though the unit is a 50-amp receptacle), the maximum amps for the receptacle is 30 amps. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat rubber tires and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground. ~Please check all motor loads for dual rated motors that will work 208 or 240.~ Applications: This power distribution system is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
