Made in Texas The MGS-600V.3P-10KVA-240V.2X30A-120V.6X20A portable power distribution system is designed to enable operators to connect to 600V primary voltage and step it down to 120/240V single phase via a 10KVA transformer to operate lights and equipment. On the secondary side, operators can connect up to six 120V, 20-amp devices and two 30-amp 240V devices. This versatile system enables operators to make the most of a single 600V 3-phase connection. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Operation: The 25` 10/4 SOOW line-in cord brings 600V power to the 30-amp 600V 3-phase fused disconnect, which contains two 20-amp time delay fuses protecting the 10KVA transformer. The NEMA 3R 10KVA transformer converts 600V power to 120/240V single phase and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 60-amp main breaker panel. This secondary panel contains six 20-amp 120V breakers protecting six 20-amp, GFCI protected 5-20R receptacles and two 30-amp GFI breaker protecting two 240V L6-30R twist lock receptacle. All receptacles are equipped with waterproof covers. Protective Construction: Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer and load assembly is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets, locking polyurethane casters, and a top located lifting eyelet allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs for an additional cost. Larger units are available upon request, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground. ~Please check all motor loads for dual rated motors that will work 208 or 240.~ Applications: This power distribution system is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
